We had a wonderful trip, beginning with a train ride from Zurich through the Swiss Alps. Before arriving in St. Moritz, we enjoyed lunch in an old wood-paneled carriage. At our destination we had snow on the ground and sun in the sky. We walked every day: up the Fex Valley; over to Maloja; along the "philosophers trail" at Muottas Muragi; down the Roseg valley; and around the town of Zuoz. The trails were well maintained so we only needed warm clothes and our hiking gear. But one day we borrowed snow shoes to venture into an even more magical landscape. See below for photos. |
